OUR MISSION STATEMENT
“To provide service to our clients beyond their expectations with integrity, commitment, and excellence, and to apply these same principles to our team members.”
Naples Pathology Associates, PA, has served southwest Florida for over 30 years. The group was formed in 1988 as a private practice of four pathologists providing Naples Community Hospital with anatomic pathology services and medical directorship of the hospital laboratories. There was a need for a high quality, service-oriented independent laboratory for local physicians’ offices, so the Naples Pathology Associates laboratory was opened in 1994.
Since then, Naples Pathology Associates has grown to eight pathologists with subspecialties in dermatopathology, hematopathology, and transfusion medicine. In addition to providing anatomic and clinical pathology services to the NCH Healthcare System, Naples Pathology Associates has broadened its range of services which includes performance of frozen sections, bone marrow biopsies and gynecologic (Pap test) and non-gynecologic cytology testing.
The NPA laboratory is CLIA-certified and licensed in the state of Florida. In addition, NPA is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), the gold standard for excellence in the laboratory community. The laboratory technical staff are Florida-licensed and meet or exceed the standards required by the various accrediting agencies.
NPA pathologists are licensed in the state of Florida and multiple other states. All are board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology and undergo periodic recertification by the American Board of Pathology. Many have subspecialty board certifications and/or specialized training in breast or GI pathology.
