Dr. Shafique earned his medical degree from Nishtar Medical College, Pakistan in 2006. He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at SUNY Downstate Medical center, Brooklyn, NY followed by
fellowships in Cytopathology and Surgical pathology at Hospital of University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Shafique is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. During training, his focus of academic interest was Head & Neck and Endocrine pathology in general and thyroid pathology in particular. He published multiple research articles in renowned journals and several poster presentations in national and international professional medical conferences. Dr. Shafique is native speaker of Urdu language. Outside of work, he likes to spend time with family, travel and explore scenic places.
