Dr. Koul received his medical training in Kashmir, India
and completed his residency in anatomic and clinical
pathology at the State University of New York (SUNY)
at Buffalo. He is board-certified in anatomic and
clinical pathology. He has a special interest in head
and neck pathology and gastrointestinal pathology.
Before joining NPA, Dr. Koul owned and operated his
own clinical and anatomic pathology laboratory in
Buffalo, NY, and was chief of pathology and
laboratory director at Sisters of Charity
Hospital in Buffalo, NY, and associate director of the
laboratory at St. Joseph Hospital in Cheektowaga, NY.
Dr. Koul was an assistant clinical professor of pathology
at State University of New York at Buffalo and was
involved in teaching medical students and residents.
Dr. Koul’s hobbies include sports, and he is the #1 fan
of the Buffalo Bills. He loves socializing with medical
staff and telling jokes.
